The Combo Cookie Dough

These giant cookies are made easier with the use of self-rising flour, which contains the leavening and salt. Both dark and white chocolate pieces are stirred into the dough, plus red and green M&M candies are dotted on top.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • Chocolate chips (white & semisweet)
  • Red & green M&M's candies

Method

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Stir in flour. Add chocolate chips (as many as you care to use); stir just until combined. Form into balls about the size of a golf ball or a little larger. (If the dough seems too soft, stir in a little additional flour.)Flatten dough with the back of a large spoon, and dot with M&M's, pressing lightly. Bake at 350 degree for approximately 10 to 12 minutes or until golden around the edges. Allow cookies to cool for a minute before removing to rack.

Notes:

Number of servings: 10-15 cookies depending upon size
