Scrumptious Sugar Cookies

White chocolate morsels are what make these sugar cookies so scrumptious.
 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup white chocolate morsels
  • About 1/2 cup additional sugar

Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix shortening and sugar. Add egg and milk beating until fluffy. Sift together dry ingredients and add to shortening mixture. Stir in white chocolate morsels. Roll into 1" balls. Roll balls in sugar and place on cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool for approximately 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
