Scotch Shortbread

A classic shortbread cookie recipe that has been through generations.
Ingredients
- 3/4 lb. butter
- 4 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar

Method
Cream butter, add sugar and flour. Knead with hands until dough is formed. Place in 9 x 13 pan. Prick top with fork. Bake at 300 until golden brown - about 1 hr and 15 min. Check after 1 hr. When cool, cut into squares.
