Saltine Cookies

Saltine crackers form the base of these easy cookies, which are topped with brown sugar and butter, then nuts and chocolate.

  • Servings: 24

Ingredients:

1 Sleeve Saltine Crackers
¾ cup Butter
½ cup Brown Sugar
½ tsp Baking Soda
1 cup Coarsely Chopped Walnuts, optional
12 oz Chocolate Morsels

Directions:

Line cookie sheet with Aluminum foil. Spray foil with Pam. Take 1 sleeve of Saltine crackers and place on greased foil. Boil 1 minute the butter and brown sugar mixture. Stir in baking soda. When frothing pour over crackers. Bake 8 minutes at 375 degrees. Spread walnuts over top.(optional) Spread morsels as next layer. Cool and cut.
