|1 cup||All Purpose Flour|
|½ cup||Granulated Sugar|
|¼ tsp||Cardamom Powder|
|1 Tbsp||Chopped Cashew Nuts|
|1 Tbsp||Chopped Pistachios|
Soak saffron in 1 tsp of hot water. Mix butter with sugar till creamy. Add flour, baking powder, saffron, cardamom powder, and cashew nuts. Mix well. Make small balls of this dough and flatten them. Brush lightly with milk and decorate each flattened ball with pistachio on top. Preheat oven to 350 F. Place cookies on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until they turn very light golden in color. Cool and store the cookies in an airtight container.
Use milk to stick the pistachio.
