Red and Green Cream Bars

These festive bars have a sugar cookie base and are topped with fresh strawberries and kiwi.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 roll (18 oz.) refrigerated sugar cookie
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 tbsp confectioner's sugar
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup sliced kiwi
 
Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll out the sugar cookie dough on a slightly greased jelly roll pan. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. While sugar cookie is cooling, mix together cream cheese, whipped topping and confectioner's sugar. Spread on cooled sugar cookie and place strawberry and kiwi slices on top. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Cut into squares and serve.
