Peanut Butter Fudge Bars

A cookie like brown sugar crust topped with a creamy peanut butter and chocolate frosting.
 

Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • Filling:
  • 1 12 oz pkg milk chocolate morsels
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

Method

Mix together first three ingredients and spread into a greased 9 X 13 pan and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Using a small sauce pan combine morsels and peanut butter. Cook over low heat until morsels are melted. Spread over bars and chill. Cut into squares.

 

Notes: Can be made with semisweet morsels for a sharper flavor.
