|½ tsp||Baking Soda|
|⅔ cup||Butter, melted and divided|
|½ cup||Boiling Water|
|½ cup||Brown Sugar|
|1⅓ cup||All-purpose Flour|
|1 tsp||Vanilla Extract|
|⅓ cup||Butter, melted|
|¾ cup||Powdered Sugar|
|1 cup||Creamy Peanut Butter|
|1 cup||Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips|
|¾||Roasted Salted Peanuts, coarsely chopped|
Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 13x9x2 inch rectangular pan. In a medium bowl, combine cocoa and baking soda. Using a whisk, blend in 1/3 cup melted butter. Add boiling water; with a spoon, stir until mixture thickens. Stir in sugars, eggs, and the remaining 1/3 cup melted butter until mixture is smooth. Add flour, vanilla, and salt mix until well blended. Evenly pour into prepared pan and set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, powdered sugar, creamy peanut butter, and vanilla. Stir until mixture is smooth. Evenly drop by teaspoonfuls over brownie batter. Swirl with a knife.
Evenly sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped peanuts over top of brownies.
Bake 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the side of pan. Remove from oven; cool completely in pan on wire wrack. Cut into 24 squares, store covered at room temperature.
If you like fudgy brownies, do not over mix the brownie mixture.
