Orange Slice Cookies

A yellow cake mix helps to short-cut the preparation of these drop cookies that have chopped orange candies, coconut & nuts stirred into the batter.
Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3/4 cup small candy orange slices, cut into small pieces
- 3/4 cup coconut
- 3/4 cup English walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 tsp vanilla

Method
Put cake mix in large bowl and use a fork to break up clumps. Add eggs, oil and vanilla then mix just until moistened. Add orange slices, coconut and walnuts. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8-9 minutes, but no more that 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand at least 5 minutes. Transfer to cooling rack.
