Oatmeal Crispies
These crunchy oatmeal cookies with coconut and nuts can be enjoyed any time of the year.
Ingredients
- 1/2 C Crisco or margarine
- 1 C brown sugar
- 1 C white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 C flour
- 3 C quick oats
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 C nuts
- 1/2 C Coconut

Method
Cream shortening & sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add nuts and coconut. Drop by scoop or form into rolls and bake. Bake at 350 F for 12 minutes
