Mound Bars

A mixture of coconut and sweetened, condensed milk is spread over a graham cracker crust, and then baked. A topper of melted chocolate chips and a little peanut butter is spread over the coconut layer.
 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 cups coconut
  • 1 can sweetened, condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 12 oz. bag chocolate chips
  • 1 Tablespoon peanut butter

Method

Mix graham crumbs, butter, and sugar. Press in bottom of a 9X13 pan. Mix coconut, milk, and vanilla. Spread over crumb layer. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter together. Spread over the top of cooled bars. Cool until set.
