Cranberries are a nice addition to any holiday festivity, especially in cookies.
Cream butter and sugars. Add milk, egg and orange juice. Combine dry ingredients and add to cream mixture. Stir in chopped cranberries and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls 2 inches apart onto a nonstick baking sheet. Or spray a regular baking sheet with a nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden brown on bottom. Let cool.
Frosting:
Brown butter in saucepan over medium heat until golden brown. Cool for 2 minutes, add powdered sugar and vanilla. Add hot water one tablespoon at a time until desired consistency. Frost cookies and let cool.
