Grandma Darline's PB Cookies

The dough for these peanut butter cookies is shaped into logs and cooled, then cut and baked. Let the kids help you make them.
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 2 tsp baking soda

Method
Cream sugars and butters together. Add eggs, salt, and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour and soda, mixing after each addition. Form into logs, let stand in fridge until hard. Slice and put on un-greased cookie sheet. Bake at 370F for 15 minutes or until done.
