Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Who doesn't like double chocolate chip cookies warm from the oven? Just don't forget the milk.
Ingredients
- 2/3 c shortening
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 c sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 C all-purpose flour
- 1/2 C unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 C miniature chocolate chips

Method
1. Preheat oven to 375*F Spray baking sheets w/cooking spray. Cream shortening and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy, about 3 min. Beat in eggs, sour cream and vanilla. 2. Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt on waxed paper. Add to bowl; mix well 3. Stir chocolate chips into bowl; do not over mix. 4. Drop dough by tspfuls onto prepared baking sheets, 2" apart. Bake cookies until puffed, about 10 min.; cool on baking sheets. Place on wire racks to cool completely.
Notes: want to have cookie dough on hand--ready to bake! Just freeze tspfulls of this cookie dough on a baking sheet until solid. Store in a platic bag in the freezer.
