Autumn Spice Drops

The large, soft cookies are full of spice and pumpkin.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup margarine or butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 15-oz. can pumpkin
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup pecan pieces

Method
In a medium bowl stir together flours, baking powder, soda and spices. Beat together sugars and margarine until combined. Add eggs, vanilla and pumpkin. Stir in oats, raisins and nuts; mix well with flour mixture. Drop from tablespoons onto greased cookie sheets. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove and cool on wire racks.
Notes: These are large, soft cookies.
